Time for the Year End Check-Up

Well, we've come to the end of another perfectly good year. Have we, or haven't we?
I guess that depends on how well you did achieving your goals. So, how did you go?

Last night I did a financial recap of my business year and noticed that I achieved 93% of my budgeted revenue projections, representating a full 20% increase over my 2004 final revenue.
I wonder how many of you achieved 93% of your goal for the year? And, did you set goals this year to stretch your achievement level from last year? I always do.

So, it's time to evaluate. Here is the list of questions I always ask the members of The Achievement Gym to answer as they prepare for the next year. Over the next two weeks to find some quiet time to evaluate your year, and ask yourself the following questions to put your 2005 year in perspective and look forward to '06:

1. What are your TOP 5 Achievements in 2005?

2. What are your 5 Greatest Disappointments in 2005?

3. What 3 lessons did you learn this year from either your achievements or your disappointments that will have the greatest impact on your year in 2006?

4. What are you ABSOLUTELY COMMITTED to doing different and/or better in 2006?

5. In what 3 specific areas are committed to improving in your business in 2006?

6. What 3 Things are you ABSOLUTELY COMMITTED to achieving in 2006?

Be as specific and detailed as you can, because that will give you the greatest insights and ideas to make your 2006 even better.
